Mi perro se llama Tom. Tiene 3 años y es mi mejor amigo. Es un San Bernardo precioso, muy grande y con un pelo muy brillante. Tom siempre está feliz. Pero por las mañanas, yo me voy a trabajar y Tom llora un poco. No quiere estar solo. Yo también estoy un poco triste, pero Tom no puede ir a trabajar conmigo. Mi jefe es alérgico a los perros.

My dog’s name is Tom. He’s 3 years old and is my best friend. He is a precious St. Bernard, very big and has very shiny hair. Tom is always happy. But in the mornings I go to work and Tom cries a little bit. He doesn’t want to be alone. I am also a little bit sad, but Tom cannot come to work with me. My boss is allergic to dogs.

Tom siempre quiere jugar en el jardín. Todos los días llego a casa a las 6 de la tarde. Tom me ve y ladra porque quiere jugar. Pero yo a veces estoy cansado porque trabajo mucho. Entonces, Tom no dice nada. Se sienta en el sofá conmigo y vemos la televisión. Tom es muy inteligente y tiene un gran corazón.

Tom always wants to play in the garden. Everyday I get home at 6 in the evening. Tom sees me and barks because he wants to play. But sometimes I am tired because I work a lot. So, Tom doesn’t say anything. He sits on the couch with me and we watch television. Tom is very smart and has a big heart.

Por la noche vemos juntos la televisión. A Tom le gustan las películas de acción. A veces, una escena le gusta mucho y empieza a ladrar sin parar. Tom puede ladrar durante casi media hora. Entonces, mi vecino viene y dice “¡No puedo dormir! ¡Quiero dormir!”. Yo digo “Lo siento. Ahora mismo apago la televisión”. Mi pobre vecino tiene mucha paciencia.

At night we watch TV together. Tom likes action movies. Sometimes, he likes a scene very much and starts barking non-stop. Tom could bark for almost half an hour. So, my neighbour comes and says “I can’t sleep! I want to sleep!”. I say “I’m sorry, I will turn off the TV right away”. My poor neighbour has a lot of patience.
